I currently offer yoga therapy private sessions at 3 health clinics in Weybridge, Claygate and New Haw, Surrey. Please head to the Contact page to book in for your FREE 30-minute no obligation private yoga therapy taster or to inquire about prices and package options.

YOGA FOR STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING class

 

When: Mondays 6.15pm-7.15pm

Where: Harmony Centre, Ashley C of E School, Ashley Road, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1HX

Investment: £12 pay-as-you-go or £50 for 5 sessions

These classes are designed to build strength, stability and support in your back, core, hips and shoulders. Each week we will focus on a specific area of the body using yoga postures and exercises designed to develop strength in an accessible, progressive and balanced way.

YOGA FOR over 50s

When: Tuesdays 11am-12pm

Where: St Andrew’s United Reformed Church, Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 1LG

Investment: £12 per class pay-as-you-go or £50 for 5 classes

These yoga classes are specifically designed to cater for the unique needs of the more mature yoga practitioner. No prior experience is necessary and the practices will be accessible for all abilities, regardless of physical limitations.

All the exercises can be modified for sitting in a chair or standing, if getting up and down off the floor is not suitable. Each week we will focus on a specific aspect of health and well-being – some of the key areas we will cover include:

  • Improving joint health and mobility
  • Enhancing balance, body awareness and confidence
  • Addressing postural imbalances and associated aches, pains and tension
  • Building strength and stamina
  • Getting up and down off the floor (if appropriate)
  • Improving breath patterns to help with energy and stress levels
  • Learning the art of relaxation

Please come dressed in comfortable, light clothing that allows for freedom of movement.

 

 

PRENATAL YOGA CLASS

When: Saturdays 9.30am-10.45am
